yeah so um i set up a server on my computer and forwarded the apropriate ports but well no luck ive sat here for 6 hours pulling m fucking hair out ,

a computer once beat me at chess . but i kicked its ass at kickboxing

You forwarded it on your router and any firewall you have? And you have checked that you really do have the port forwarded correctly http://www.whatsmyip.org/ports/.

yea, you first have to forward your ports through both your router and your fw...
